On the eve of the international friendly match against Cyprus at the Hristo Botev Stadium in Plovdiv, Bulgaria has unveiled its new Home Kit created by Macron, technical partner of the ‘Luvovete’ since 2023. A Game Set that combines the colors and symbols representing the National Team’s identity with a customized, refined, and sophisticated design, the result of close collaboration between the Bulgarian Federation’s staff and the Macron design office, a leader in the world of sportswear.
The new Bulgaria Home jersey is white with a red polo collar. The sleeves feature an embossed geometric pattern composed of small triangles, while the green cuffs are enriched with sublimated graphic details inspired by traditional Bulgarian textile motifs. Green is also present in the wide vertical stripes on the sides of the jersey. Another impressive graphic element is the embossed design on the front depicting the crowned rampant lion, found in both the National Team logo and the Bulgarian crest.
The backneck is customized with a red and green half label on a background that recalls the geometric sleeve graphic, intersected by three diagonal lines in the colors of the Bulgarian flag. On the right side is the National Team logo, on the left the Macron logo and the inscription ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that every garment is conceived, designed, and developed at the Macron Campus. Inside the collar is a custom inner tape with the inscription ‘РОД РОДИНА ТАТКОВИНА’, evoking the concepts of lineage, homeland, and family. Embroidered in red on the chest is the Macron Hero, next to the fabric patch with the Bulgarian national emblem. The kit is completed with green shorts with red drawstrings and hems, and red socks.
The new Bulgaria Home kit expresses a strong sense of belonging to national symbols and colors, combined with a clear message of sustainability and environmental respect, as with all Macron’s federation and club partners. Made entirely from Eco Fabric, the full kit is produced with fabric made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic. The primary fabric used is Eco Softlock, with the back panel in Eco Baimi and inserts in Eco Mesh, making the garment lighter and more breathable.
