Supporters’ songs on Mjällby AIF’s new Home kit made by Macron

Mjällby AIF, the team that plays in the Allsvenskan, Sweden’s top football division, and Macron, technical partner to the ‘black and yellows’, have just revealed the club’s new Home kit for the 2025 season. Along with the club’s traditional colours, the new game set celebrates the players’ close ties with their supporters by reproducing the words of one of the songs sung on the terraces of Strandvallen, the stadium where Mjällby AIF plays its home games.

The new Home shirt has a black polo neck, black sleeve cuffs and black stripes down the sides. The body of the shirt is yellow with a Macron Hero and club badge printed in black silicone on the right and left of the chest respectively. The inside neck label is customised with the club’s colours and badge, the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that every garment is designed and made at the Macron Campus.

The new shirt features tone on tone, all-over, dye-sub graphics repeating the words of one of the songs of the Swedish supporters. Behind the neck, the motto Vår historia har precis börjat (our story has just begun) is printed in black letters. This phrase also appears on the supporter’s season tickets and is clearly visible inside the stadium.

The new Home kit is completed by black shorts and yellow socks with a black stripe around the top. The Macron Hero is reproduced at the front at ankle height, and the date 1939, when Mjällby AIF was formed, is printed at the back. Like all the kits produced by Macron for its partner clubs, Mjällby AIF’s new Home kit is made from Eco Fabric, a polyester material derived entirely from recycled post-consumer plastic. The main material for the shirt is Eco Gotex (central body and sleeves), combined with an Eco Micromesh panel in the back and Eco Mesh inserts for reduced weight and improved breathability.
