On the eve of the match against the Blau-Weiß Linz, valid for the playoffs of the Admiral Bundesliga, Macron has unveiled the new Home Kit 2025/26 of FK Austria Wien, the country’s most titled club. A shirt that expresses the Veilchen’s (“Violets”) strong bond with their city and, as with every Macron partner club, also contains a clear message of sustainability and respect for the environment. The kit is in fact made entirely of Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric made from post-consumer recycled plastic.
The new FK Austria Wien Home Kit is an expression of identity and a sense of belonging, combined with the sartorial quality, creativity and design that are the hallmarks of Macron, since last year the technical partner of the Austrian club and a leading brand in the world of sportswear. The tradition of the colour violet that has always distinguished Austria Wien is enriched, front and back, by a sublimated, shaded and tone-on-tone graphic representing the map of the Austrian capital Vienna. With Favoriten (10th) on the chest, Simmering (11th) on the sleeves and Floridsdorf (21st) and Donaustadt (22nd) on the back, we have immortalised the four districts with the most members on one jersey.
LThe shirt has a crew-neck with a border with two fine red and white stripes, a colour combination that is also present on the sleeve edges – another hommage to the city of Vienna. On the chest are the Macron Hero on the right and the FK Austria Wien crest on the left, made of silicone material and with a 3D effect. On the outer backneck, in white, the name of the club “AUSTRIAWIEN” is printed, while on the front, on the jersey bottom, there is a personalised inner tape with the words “STOLZ UNSERER STADT” (Pride of our city), repeated and interspersed with the club crest. The inner backneck is customised with a label which features a background that echoes the graphics of the jersey, the club logo above which appears the word VEILCHEN, the Macron logo and the words “Designed in Bologna” which certifies that each garment is conceived, designed and developed on the Macron Campus.
The Home Kit is completed by violet shorts with black drawstrings and red and white details on the hips and thigh edge. The purple socks have two fine red and white stripes on the upper edge. The kit has a slim fit. The main fabric used is Eco Exalock. The back panel with Eco Baimi and Eco Mesh inserts make the garment lighter and more breathable.
