Real Sociedad and Macron, technical partner of the Txuri-Urdin since the 2018/19 season, have unveiled the new Home and Away Kits that the Basque club will wear during the 2025/26 season. Tradition and stylistic innovation merge in this new Game Set, enriched with symbols that pay homage to the club’s history and reflect the strong Basque identity of the San Sebastián side.
The new 2025/26 Real Sociedad Home Kit features white and blue vertical stripes, with a navy blue crew neck and sleeve cuffs. The white stripes are enhanced by a fine vertical blue line inside them, while the blue stripes are actually made up of a geometric pattern with small segments fading from a lighter to a darker shade of blue, creating thin diagonal lines and an overall 3D effect. Also in navy blue, on the chest to the right, is the embroidered Macron Hero, while on the left is the Real Sociedad crest, in an embroidered version heat-applied onto the shirt. The inside neck is customised with a golden label that includes, alongside a detail of the club logo, a stylised drawing of Luis Arconada, the iconic goalkeeper who defended the Txuri-Urdin goal for 15 years during the 1970s and 80s. Beneath Arconada’s figure appear the dates 1975 – 2025, celebrating 50 years since the Basque keeper’s debut with Real Sociedad. The label is completed by the Macron logo and the phrase ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying and highlighting how each garment is conceived, designed, and developed at the Macron Campus. On the external back neck, the expression of Basque identity could not be missing: the Ikurrina, the flag and symbol of the Basque Country. The Home Kit is completed by white shorts with navy blue side bands and two horizontal stripes.
The new 2025/26 Real Sociedad Away Kit is predominantly anthracite grey, with silver bands on the sides, shoulders and sleeves, outlined by an elegant white piping. The V-neck features details in anthracite grey, silver and white, as do the sleeve cuffs. The distinctive graphic element of this kit is the marble-effect sublimation print featured on all anthracite parts. On the chest to the right, embroidered in silver, is the Macron Hero, while the Real Sociedad crest sits centrally, also as an embroidered patch heat-applied to the shirt. Once again, the Ikurrina is embroidered on the external back neck, while the inner label is customised as in the Home version. The kit is completed by silver shorts with anthracite grey side bands.
Both the Home and Away shirts, like all game sets produced by Macron for its partner clubs, are made from Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester material derived from recycled plastic and certified by the Global Recycled Standard. Both have a slim fit, with the main fabric being Eco Softlock, and the presence of a back panel in Eco Micromesh and inserts in Eco Mesh ensures lightness and breathability.
