Macron and PAOK FC celebrate a century of history with the launch of the new 100 Years Special Kit, a limited-edition shirt with a strong retro aesthetic, created to honour the tradition and identity of one of Greek football’s most iconic clubs. The official debut is scheduled for 1 March in the home fixture against Asteras Tripolis F.C., an all-Macron derby that adds further significance to the occasion.
The shirt stands out for its essential and elegant design, inspired by the club’s historic kits. Wide black-and-white vertical stripes alternate across the front, back and sleeves, with a clean construction that recalls the football aesthetics of the past. The fit is slim, featuring a knitted crew neck and refined details that enhance the garment’s heritage character. Positioned centrally on the chest, one beneath the other, are the special retro PAOK crest and the Macron Hero embroidered in white, underlining the celebratory nature of the kit.
On the outer back neck, the dates 1926 – 2026 are embroidered in gold, while a woven label is inserted at the lower left hem featuring the Macron and club logos side by side above the wording ‘LIMITED EDITION 100 YEARS’. At the rear hem only, a customised silicone band is applied, carrying the white inscription on a black background “ΕΜΕΙΣ ΜΑΖΙ ΓΙΑ ΜΙΑ ΖΩΗ / ΠΑΟΚ 1926-2026” (Together for a lifetime / PAOK 1926-2026).
The personalised inner backneck label is entirely black, except for a white band edged in gold on the right-hand side, containing the club’s retro logo and the wording ‘PAOK FC 100 YEARS’. On the opposite side, the Macron logo and the phrase ‘Designed in Bologna’ certify that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
Made entirely from Eco Piola, a fabric belonging to the Eco Fabric range and produced from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic, the shirt combines sustainability with tradition. The distinctive structure of Eco Piola provides a refined vintage effect, both in look and feel, strengthening the connection with the club’s century-long history. Eco Mesh inserts ensure breathability and comfort, while maintaining high technical performance standards.
More than a match strip, the 100 Years Special Kit represents a bridge between past and future: a tribute to the history of PAOK FC, its identity and the passion that has driven its supporters for over a century.
