Macron just presented the new Bologna FC 1909 Third kit – the last of the game kits designed for the 2024/25 season. The new kit boasts an innovative look in which the club’s traditional red and blue appear in graphics that draw inspiration from modern art. Like the Home and Away kits, the new Third kit is made from Eco Exalock, an Eco Fabric obtained entirely from recycled post-consumer polyester. The entire shirt is characterised by a fine, hexagonal Jacquard weave that gives it a different ‘look and feel’ to conventional technical and sports fabrics.
Bologna FC’s new Serie A Third shirt for 2024/25 has a red knitted crew neck and sleeve cuffs. The shirt is rendered particularly attractive by a Jacquard weave and by the presence, on the front, shoulders and sleeves of dye-sub graphics in which red and blue, the colours that traditionally identify the club, interweave to form lines and shapes inspired by modern art.
The customised inside neck label features the club’s colours and the dates 1925-2025 in gold. The Championship Cup appears in the centre with the figure 100, celebrating the 100th anniversary of Bologna’s first championship win in the 1924-25 season. Also on the label are the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that the garment was conceived, designed, and developed in the Macron Campus.
A white, silicone-printed Macron Hero appears on the right of the chest, while over the heart on the left can be seen the letters ‘BFC’ and the date 1909 derived from the badge of Bologna FC 1909. The club’s motto, “WE ARE ONE” is printed in white behind the neck. At the back, an elastic tape inside the bottom hem repeats the two dates 1925-2025, interspersed with an image of the championship cup. The shorts are navy blue with diagonal red stripes on the sides and at the rear leg bottoms. The socks are navy blue with two horizontal red stripes on the calf, the letters ‘BFC’, and the date ‘1909’ in white on the front.
The new Third shirt for 2024/25 is a Slim Fit garment with an Eco Micromesh panel in the back to reduce weight and improve breathability.
