Black and green are particularly significant colours for Hannover 96, the German club competing in the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga. In addition to the red that dominates the home strip, these were in fact the colours originally worn by the club and still remain deeply rooted in the club’s identity today, often appearing in their alternative kits. For the 2025/26 season, this colour combination once again defines the new Hannover 96 Away Kit, designed by Macron. Alongside this chromatic choice, the away jersey also features a fabric innovation. The kit is made from Eco Knit Effect, an innovative jacquard-textured fabric that utilises 3D knitting technology to create seamless and anatomically optimised garments.
The new 2025/26 Away Kit for Hannover 96 is black with a knitted Korean collar edged with fine white and green stripes. A wide vertical green stripe runs down the centre of the shirt, bordered on both sides by fine white lines. Within the green stripe, positioned on the chest in white silicone print, are the Macron Hero and the German club’s crest, one above the other. The backneck is customised with the team’s logo, also appearing in the background fade of the label, along with the motto “NIEMALS ALLEIN!” (“Never alone!”), the Macron logo and the text ‘Designed in Bologna’, highlighting that every garment is conceived, designed and developed in collaboration with the club at the Macron Campus. On the outer rear collar, the “NIEMALS ALLEIN!” motto is printed again in white.
The kit is completed with black shorts featuring white drawstrings and green tips, and black socks with a wide horizontal green stripe and two finer white lines at the centre.
The new Hannover 96 Away Kit, like all game kits made by Macron for its partners, is produced using Eco Fabric – 100% recycled polyester fabrics sourced from plastic waste. This reflects the shared commitment between the Hannover club and the Italian brand to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
