The Cathedral stained glass windows in the 2025/26 Away Kit designed by Macron for Gloucester Rugby

The partnership between Macron and Gloucester Rugby, announced on 29 April, officially begins with the unveiling of the first kit for the 2025/26 season, which will see the English club compete in the Gallagher Premiership and the Investec Champions Cup. The new 2025/26 Away Kit has been revealed, featuring an all-over graphic on the shirt that pays tribute to a historic city landmark: Gloucester Cathedral. The launch of the Away kit will be followed on 1 September by the launch of the Home kit, the first since Macron and Gloucester Rugby began their partnership.

The new Gloucester Rugby 2025/26 Away jersey is entirely lilac, with anthracite grey details around the V-neck and sleeve edges. The shirt is characterised, front and back, by a sublimated tone-on-tone graphic representing the magnificent stained glass windows of Gloucester Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece from the 15th century whose historic cloister was used as a film set for the Harry Potter movies.

The Macron Hero on the chest, next to the English club’s crest, is in anthracite grey. The lilac shorts feature anthracite grey drawstrings and carry the shirt’s graphic on the sides. The lilac socks have a top border and a horizontal stripe across the middle, both in anthracite grey.

As with all Game Sets produced by Macron for its partner clubs, the new Gloucester Rugby 2025/26 Away Kit is made entirely of Eco Fabric, a material created 100% from post-consumer recycled plastic. It is estimated that the equivalent of 13 half-litre plastic bottles is reused for each shirt produced with these fabrics. Specifically, for the Gloucester Rugby Away Kit, Eco Armevo and Eco Bodytex have been used – fabrics developed specifically for rugby to ensure excellent performance and outstanding durability. Inserts in Eco Strong Mesh also provide maximum breathability.
