The new Brack Super League season has already been underway for three matchdays, and FC Basel 1893, reigning Swiss champions, has completed the presentation of its Game Set by unveiling the new 2025/26 Third Kit designed by Macron.
The kit’s design, split into black and white halves, is a tribute to the colours of the city’s flag, but also, specifically, to one of the traditional masks of the Basel Carnival: Ueli, a jester-like character who wears garments divided into black and white. The look is further enhanced by the use of Eco Checker Jacquard fabric, made up of a grid of small squares woven directly into the fabric, creating a slightly raised effect and highlighting the quality of the craftsmanship.
The new 2025/26 FC Basel 1893 Third shirt has a black Korean-style collar with white detailing. The right sleeve is white with a black edge, while the left sleeve reverses the colours, black with a white edge. On the right-hand side of the chest, the Macron Hero is embroidered in white, while on the left, over the heart, appears the monochrome black version of the FC Basel 1893 crest, composed solely of the FCB acronym with two stars.
The inner neck label features the curved stripe motif found on the Home shirt, here in grey on a black background. At the centre is the Baslerstab, a heraldic symbol representing a bishop’s staff that appears on the flag and coat of arms of the city of Basel, alongside the wording FC BASEL 1893 – SAISON 2025/26, together with the Macron logo and the wording Designed in Bologna, certifying that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the outer back collar, the Baslerstab is also embroidered in black.
The new Third Kit is completed by black shorts with a white side band, inside which the Macron Hero and the Baslerstab appear in black, one above the other, and black socks with two white stripes on the upper edge, also featuring the Baslerstab on the calf.
As with all kits made by Macron for its partner clubs, the Third Kit is entirely produced in Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester material derived from recycled plastic, confirming the Italian brand’s green philosophy shared by the Swiss club. Specifically, in this case, in addition to the aforementioned Eco Checker Jacquard for the front and sleeves, the kit also includes side inserts in Eco Mesh and a back panel in Eco Micromesh, ensuring lightness and breathability.
