Edinburgh Rugby is gearing up for the upcoming season by unveiling the new 2025/26 Home and Alternate kits that the Scottish club will wear in the United Rugby Championship. The traditional colours – navy blue, reflex blue, burnt orange and white – come together in modern, refined designs, created exclusively and entirely customised by Macron, Edinburgh Rugby’s technical sponsor for over 15 years.
The new 2025/26 Edinburgh Rugby Home shirt is a burst of lines and colours ranging from reflex blue to white and burnt orange, set against a navy-blue base. The lines are slightly blurred and irregular, creating a ‘brushstroke’ effect which, combined with the diagonal movement, gives the kit great dynamism. The polo collar features reflex blue details, with a customised inner tape carrying the repeated wording, in white, ALWAYS EDINBURGH. On the chest, on the right and in white, is the Macron Hero; on the left, the crest of the Scottish club. On the back of the external collar, in white, is the wording EST 1872, recalling and celebrating the year the club was founded. The inside of the collar is personalised with a gradient label in burnt orange and navy blue, featuring the Edinburgh Rugby crest, the Macron logo, and the wording ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying and highlighting how every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. The Home kit is completed with navy blue shorts and socks.
White is the dominant colour of the 2025/26 Alternate version, with a navy-blue polo collar and burnt orange details. These same colours also feature in the geometric graphic on the sleeve edges and side bands, a simplified and abstract reference to the traditional Scottish tartan pattern. On the chest, on the right, stands out the Macron Hero in navy blue. On the left is the Edinburgh Rugby crest. The back neck and inner tape are personalised as in the Home version, and once again the wording EST 1872 is present, in this case in navy blue, on the back of the external collar. The shorts are predominantly white and feature the tartan graphic from the shirt on the sides. The white socks, with a navy-blue top border, have a central horizontal band in a navy-blue and burnt orange chequered pattern.
Both shirts come in a body fit and, like all technical garments Macron produces for its clubs, are made of Eco Fabric, 100% polyester derived from post-consumer recycled plastic. The main fabric used is Eco Armevo, with inserts in Eco Boditex and Eco Strong Mesh ensuring top-level performance and resistance, combined with lightness and perfect breathability. The new kits, along with the apparel line created by Macron for Edinburgh Rugby, are available in the section dedicated to the Scottish club on macron.com.
