The logos of a club trace its identity. The passion and creativity of a fan can give life to the design that celebrates the 120 th anniversary of a historic German football club. This was the case for Arminia Bielefeld. The 120 years from the club’s foundation are celebrated with an Anniversary Kit, the design of which was selected in a contest involving Die Arminen fans. In the end, from the almost 500 entries received from over 250 designers, the chosen design was the one presented by Arthur, a fan who is passionate about creation and multimedia design. Macron then proceeded to produce the special kit.
A special uniform to celebrate a special birthday and in which, along with the historical colours of the German club, all the logos that have identified the team from its inception to the present day are present, starting with the first one applied on the chest in a revamped, gold embossed version.
Arminia Bielefeld’s Anniversary Kit has a knitted V-neck with fine golden stripes, a colour detail that’s also present on the sleeve edges. The shirt’s body is white with a wide blue vertical stripe in the middle, a colour also present on the shoulders and sleeves. The backneck is personalised with a two-tone, white and blue label with a background that echoes the graphics on the jersey, the 120 th anniversary Arminia Bielefeld logo, the Macron logo and the words “Designed in Bologna” which certify that each garment is conceived, designed and developed on the Macron Campus.
On the chest, on the right and in gold, there is the Macron Hero; on the left, on the heart side, the golden and embossed logo of Arminia Bielefeld takes up the first one in the club’s history. Again in gold lettering, the words 120 JAHRE ARMINIA and 1905 BIS 2025 were added to these logos, both at the top and bottom. The design that characterises the shirt is given by the all-over and embossed graphics, front and back, composed of all the Arminia Bielefeld logos from the first in 1905 to the last one adopted in 2021.
The shirt has a Slim Fit and is made of Eco Fabric, a 100% polyester fabric from recycled plastic, confirming the green philosophy as a commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment that unites Arminia Bielefeld and Macron. In particular, the fabric used is Eco Piola, which adds a distinct retro touch to softness and elasticity. The back panel with Eco Baimi and Eco Mesh inserts make the garment lighter and more breathable.
