The Albanian Football Association (FSHF) and Macron have unveiled the new 2026/27 kits for the national teams of Albania, which will be worn for the first time during the play-offs for qualification to the final stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, scheduled for Thursday 26 March against Poland in Warsaw. New kits, but the same unwavering passion that will drive the side coached by Sylvinho in their attempt to achieve a historic qualification, a milestone never reached before.
Red, off-white and black are the colours that define the new Game Set available to the Albanian national teams for the upcoming season. The three shirts – Home, Away and Third – are characterised by refined and elegant graphics, innovative printing techniques and the use of top-quality technical fabrics. In addition to guaranteeing the highest performance standards, the Albania 2026/27 kits also stand out from a sustainability perspective, as they are produced by Macron using Eco Fabric materials made 100% from post-consumer recycled plastic.
The 2026/27 Home Kit – Tradition meets modernity
The new 2026/27 Albania Home shirt is red with a crew neck and knitted sleeve cuffs in black. Both the front and back feature a graphic composed of a series of tone-on-tone wavy lines created through sublimation printing, a technique that allows customised designs to be transferred onto fabric with extreme precision and complete creative freedom. On the right side of the torso, these lines create an optical effect forming the image of the double-headed eagle, the national symbol of Albania.
On the chest, both in silicone print, appear the black Macron Hero on the right and the FSHF crest on the left. Inside the triangular external backneck panel, edged with black piping, the word SHQIPËRI (Albania) is embroidered, while the inner collar features a red label with a tone-on-tone detail echoing the shirt’s graphic. Alongside the FSHF logo and the wording FEDERATA SHQIPTARE E FUTBOLLIT, the label also displays the Macron Hero and the wording ‘Designed in Bologna’, certifying that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus.
A further customised element of the new Albania kits is the internal tape positioned on the rear hem of the shirt, featuring the repeated phrase “Ti Shqipëri, më jep nder” (“Albania, you give me honour”) interspersed with the symbol of the double-headed eagle. The home kit is completed by black shorts with drawstrings featuring red tips. The black socks have a red upper band with a thin horizontal black stripe.
The 2026/27 Away Kit – Elegance in off-white
The Away version replicates the graphic layout of the home shirt, differing mainly in its dominant colour: off-white enriched by red details on the crew neck, sleeve cuffs and the red band at the bottom of the shirt. The Macron Hero on the chest is in red silicone print, as is the crest of the Albanian Federation. The wavy graphic that forms the spread wings of the eagle is also present in this version. The shorts are also off-white, as are the socks with a red upper band.
The 2026/27 Third Kit – The lily as a symbol of nobility
The Third shirt is entirely black, apart from a thin red line on the sleeve cuffs, and it features an all-over debossed graphic. The debossing technique consists of heat-pressing a design into the fabric so that the unpressed areas stand out on the surface, creating a striking and elegant visual effect. In this case, the debossed pattern across the entire kit is composed of the repetition of a circular motif representing the lily, a flower traditionally associated with nobility and honour, and which also appeared as decoration on the helmet worn by the historic Albanian national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. The kit is completed by black shorts and black socks, the latter featuring a red upper band with a horizontal black stripe.
High-quality for the best performance
The Home and Away versions are made from Eco Exalock, a material that guarantees lightness, breathability, durability and a dynamic fit, enhanced by the hexagonal structure of the jacquard fabric. The Third shirt is instead made from Eco Softlock, a lightweight, soft and highly durable technical fabric. All kits also feature a rear panel in Eco Micromesh and inserts in Eco Mesh, ensuring greater breathability and comfort during use.
