With the unveiling of the new Third Kit, AJ Auxerre has completed the g of the 2025/26 Game Set, designed by Macron, which the French club will wear for its return season in Ligue 1. This is a special year for Auxerre, as 2025 marks the club’s 120th anniversary. The 2025/26 Third Kit is dedicated to one of the most memorable seasons in the club’s histor ok, with a design that pays tribute to the Away Kit worn during the 2002/03 season.
The new 2025/26 AJ Auxerre Third shirt is royal blue, with navy blue shoulders and sleeves, and two side bands in the same colour. The crew neck, sleeve cuffs and side bands are also accented with elegant orange piping. This combination, as mentioned, is a nod to the design of the 2002/03 Away Kit – the season in which the French club played in the UEFA Champions League and, above all, won its third Coupe de France.
On the lower front of the shirt, in tone-on-tone heat print, the dates 1905 and 2025 are separated by the Maltese cross, celebrating the 120th anniversary of the club’s founding. As with the Home and Away versions, the Third shirt also features the embroidered wording “AJ AUXERRE” on the outside back of the collar.
The backneck label is customised in the club’s colours, with the AJ Auxerre crest alongside the phrase L’AJA EST BÂTIE SUR PIERRE, L’AJA NE PÉRIRA PAS (“AJA is built on stone, AJA will not perish”), next to the Macron logo and the words “Designed in Bologna”, certifying that each garment is conceived, designed, and developed at the Macron Campus. The royal blue shorts feature navy blue side bands with orange piping, while the royal blue socks have a navy blue top border with a fine orange horizontal stripe.
The new 2025/26 AJ Auxerre Third Kit, like all technical garments produced by the Italian brand for its partner clubs, is made from Eco Fabric – 100% polyester fabrics derived from post-consumer recycled plastic. This reflects the Italian brand’s green philosophy, shared with the club, as a commitment to sustainability and respect for the environment. Specifically, the main fabric used for the Third Kit is Eco Light Sirena, with the back panel in Eco Micromesh and inserts in Eco Mesh, ensuring lightness and maximum breathability. The shirt has a body fit, as with the iconic 2002/03 kit.
