Aalborg BK, the Danish club from the eponymous city in northern Jutland, and Macron, technical partner of De Røde, have unveiled the new Home and Away Kits for the upcoming 2025/26 season. The traditional white and red dominate in a fine stripe pattern on the home shirt, while a distinctive shade of purplish blue characterises the away kit.
The new Aalborg BK 2025/26 Home shirt features a V-neck with a white edge and a fine red stripe, a colour combination also present on the sleeve edges. The shoulders and sleeves are entirely red, while the central front body and the lower back of the shirt display a series of fine vertical red and white stripes in sublimated print. The backneck is personalised with the club’s colours, in the background the club crest appears above the text ‘Vi er AaB. Vi kommer fra Nordjylland. Aalborg er byen, hvor folket er tolvte mand.’ (We are AaB. We come from Northern Jutland. Aalborg is the city where the people are the twelfth man), one of the chants sung by the red and white fans at the stadium. The label is completed by the Macron logo and the wording Designed in Bologna, certifying that each garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus. On the chest, on the right side, the Macron Hero is embroidered in black, while on the left side sits the Aalborg BK crest. On the outside of the back collar, the year 1885 – the founding year of the historic Danish club – is printed in white. White shorts with red side bands and thigh edges, and red socks featuring two central white bands, complete the Home kit.
The 2025/26 Away version features a white polo collar with red and white details, also on the sleeve edges. The layout of the shirt mirrors that of the Home kit, but the vertical tone-on-tone stripes, always in sublimated graphics, fade from bottom to top on a purplish blue background. This faded stripe pattern also appears on the sleeves and back. The Macron Hero on the chest is in white silicone print, as is the Aalborg BK crest. The backneck is identical to that of the Home shirt, and here too the club’s founding year is printed in white on the outer back collar. The shorts match the colour of the shirt, with red drawstrings and vertical red and white stripes on the sides and thigh edges. The socks share the same shade, with two horizontal stripes in white and red across the middle.
All Aalborg BK kits, like all technical garments produced by the Italian brand for its partner clubs, are made from Eco Fabric, a fabric consisting of 100% polyester from recycled plastic, confirming the brand’s commitment to sustainability and environmental respect. Specifically, the main fabric used for the Home and Away kits is Eco Softlock, a technical fabric specially designed for match kits, lightweight, soft and highly tear-resistant. Both shirts also feature a back panel in Eco Micromesh and Eco Mesh, ensuring lightness and maximum breathability. All garments from the apparel line created for Aalborg BK are available in the section dedicated to the Danish club on macron.com.
