Bologna, March 25, 2026 – The new episode of Campus Talks, the podcast produced by Macron Media House that hosts conversations with leading figures from the worlds of sports, culture, business, and society, is now available on Macron’s digital platforms.
The guest of the fourth episode is Nicola Rizzoli, one of the three Italian referees to have officiated a FIFA World Cup Final, and currently head of the refereeing department at CONCACAF. In a conversation with hosts Angelo Marino, Macron’s Chief Brand & Communications Officer, and Carlton Myers, former basketball player and Olympic flag bearer, Rizzoli shares his entire journey: from his beginnings as a football player and the resulting desire to understand the rules, to his personal relationships with some of the most important champions in football history, and finally to his current role as an instructor, entrusted with the delicate task of passing the weight of responsibility on to younger referees.
His professional and personal path is the result of passion and obsessive preparation, but above all of love for the role of referee, a perspective that deserves to be told by someone who has carried it out with great professionalism and dedication, and that challenges common preconceptions about officiating teams in all sports.
Campus Talks was born from the idea of using sport as a starting point to meet people and uncover stories worth telling. The editorial direction and technical production of the podcast are managed by Macron Media House, the company’s internal structure dedicated to content development and supporting brand communication and positioning. Episodes are recorded in the internal podcast studio at Macron Campus, the company’s headquarters near Bologna, which inspired the project’s name.
The new episode of Campus Talks with Nicola Rizzoli is available on Macron’s YouTube channel and on major audio streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Amazon Music.
Previous guests on Campus Talks include Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron; Elisabetta Canalis; and Alino Diamanti.
