Finding a job that stays with you for almost your entire life is rare. But for Stefania Goidànich, now part of Macron’s administrative area, that is exactly what happened. Her journey began on December 7, 1983, in a company that was then called Gruppo Macron and consisted of four companies. Since then, everything has changed: the company, the roles, the tools. And she has changed along with them.

“I started with data entry. Then came outgoing invoicing, warehouse management, and managing sales representatives. Today I’m part of the Suppliers team, working alongside a colleague to manage around 40–45 agents. I also handle Intrastat reporting and insurance procedures.”

Autonomy and method
Over more than forty years of her career, Stefania has built her own working method step by step, relying on organization, autonomy, and curiosity.

“I like to say that I grew on my own, learning how to manage things independently. I don’t like depending on others: I prefer to find solutions, organize myself, and constantly improve. That’s how I achieve results.”

Always new goals
Despite her experience, Stefania never stops setting herself new goals. Continuous training is a priority for her.

“This year I’d finally like to enroll in a Spanish course. And I’ll also take yet another English course: it’s essential when working with international agents. I believe that every time we reach a goal, we should immediately aim higher. That’s what makes us grow.”

Mutual growth
In Stefania’s story, one word comes up again and again: growth. Professional, personal, shared.

“When I joined the company, I didn’t yet have my high school diploma. I worked during the day and went to school in the evening. I graduated while working and even started university. Then I chose to focus solely on my job. The company changes weren’t easy, but I believed in them. I stayed, and I grew together with the company. Very few people have seen it change the way I have.”

A dynamic job where curiosity is essential
Some might think that working in a company’s administrative department is repetitive, but as Stefania explains:

“My days are always different. I deal with many things, so routine doesn’t exist. Every day can bring new challenges. I’ve always approached my work with humility, but also with the desire to learn from others. And it’s this curiosity that has enriched me.”

Staying by choice
Over the years, opportunities to change were not lacking. But Stefania always chose to stay.

“That spark that pushes you to leave never really ignited. I feel good here, I like my job and it gives me satisfaction. And being close to home is no small thing. If I were a few years younger, I might have tried moving to another department, maybe marketing. I would have liked to travel a bit more. I miss business trips, especially to England, which I love deeply. London, for me, is the most beautiful city in the world.”

One key word: team
If she had to describe Macron in just one word, Stefania has no doubts: team.

“It’s a word that speaks of sport, but also of shared spirit, of working together to achieve common goals. And that’s exactly what we do every day here at Macron.”
