Ahead of tomorrow’s kick-off of the DEMO Festival 2025, a unique event celebrating motion design as a form of artistic and communicative expression, Macron presents a special jersey created for the occasion in collaboration with the designers from Studio Dumbar DEPT®, an international branding agency specialising in visual identity and communication design.
The DEMO Festival Special Jersey 2025 takes a symbol of sporting passion and athletic performance such as a football jersey and transports it fully into the world of design. It is a clear example of how these two fields can merge to create new forms of communication and cultural expression. Fashion, technology, innovation and style find in this event, which celebrates art in motion, the ideal place and time to express emotions and passions through the aesthetics of everyday life that become art.
‘This collaboration is a further step in the process of strengthening the brand identity that we are pursuing in various fields beyond sport’, commented Angelo Marino, Chief Brand and Communications Officer of Macron. ‘Performance, aesthetic research, functionality and innovation, which represent some of our most important values, are well present in fashion, art, music and, as on this occasion, in a global design event. We enthusiastically participate in the DEMO Festival, eager to get in touch with a community of creatives and innovators capable of recognising and appreciating what is beautiful and well-made, as we believe this Special Jersey that we have created together with Studio Dumbar is’. ”.
Total black, with a polo collar and long sleeves, the Special Jersey is customised with a tone-on-tone sublimated design in which the festival logo is repeated across the lower torso and sleeves. A celebration of the innovation and creativity that will be at the heart of the DEMO Festival 2025. Scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 30 January, the event will involve cities around the world in a day dedicated to motion design. For the occasion, LED screens in some of the most important cities in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Eindhoven and Utrecht), as well as in Antwerp, Brussels, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cardiff, Leeds, Madrid, Barcelona, Los Angeles and Vancouver, will project the works and projects of some of the world’s leading motion designers for 24 hours.
Amsterdam, with its 84 screens, 4 of which are special, will be the heart of this event and will host exhibitions and talks on the themes of animation and design. On the stage of the Dutch capital’s Central Station, starting at 7.15 p.m. tomorrow, representatives from Macron’s creative and communications departments will talk about the details of the partnership with DEMO Festival and the values of innovation and creativity that underpin this collaboration.
