Silvia Cavalli is the Customer Experience Manager within Macron’s commercial office, supporting Area Managers across various European markets. Her journey with the company began as an internship for her thesis, and through dedication and determination, she earned a permanent role in the team. Over the years, her responsibilities have grown, assisting an Area Manager in overseeing teams directly managed by the company. Today, she handles the markets of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Cyprus, as well as the Italian National Amateur League.
As an athlete, Silvia understands the value of “wearing a jersey” and approaches every workday with enthusiasm and determination: “It’s not just about going to work. We are truly committed. Every morning, I wake up with the idea of doing something new, something meaningful.”
Growing every day
Experience and time are key elements for personal and professional growth.”I joined as a student, and today I am a senior figure in an office that has seen me grow and develop,” Silvia shares. This journey has allowed her to take on new responsibilities, handle complex situations, and work independently while maintaining constant collaboration with various company departments.
“I am very proud of my job, which has helped me grow both professionally and personally. Mistakes can happen, but what matters is learning from them and finding new insights and ideas to improve.”
The satisfaction of seeing a project come to life
There are many rewarding moments in daily work. Seeing a project through from start to finish is a fulfilling experience: from signing the contract to meeting new people, from managing the production process to delivering the final product.
“When I see the jersey teams play in, when it appears on social media and I read the fans’ comments, I think: ‘I did a great job.’ Even if there were tough days, in the end, this is the best part.”
On top of that, the opportunity to engage with people both inside and outside the company, discover new cultures, and collaborate with those who share a passion for sports makes the experience even more valuable.
New challenges and goals for the future
Silvia has a clear vision for her future: to keep growing. “I don’t want to stop. Every year has been different from the last, and I want to keep that trajectory. I want to improve my management skills and prove that I always give my best, even when faced with new challenges.”
For her, working at Macron means growth, opportunity, and teamwork. “I am a curious person, open to new experiences, and I try to take everything I can from every situation.”
The importance of relationships
Silvia’s background in competitive synchronized skating taught her the value of teamwork— a principle she applies daily in her job. “Macron is a company where sports and work intertwine. We work with people of different ages, cultures, and departments, but all with a common goal. Engaging with colleagues and clients is essential—great ideas and solutions come from discussion.”
Growing together with the company
Like many of her colleagues, Silvia has witnessed Macron’s growth firsthand. “I have seen and continue to experience the company’s expansion, not just in terms of revenue but also as a work environment. Macron is more than just a workplace; it’s a space for sharing, where friendships are built and strong connections are formed. Here, even the newest team member is treated with the same respect as those who have been with the company for years.”
Macron = Team
If she had to describe Macron in one word, Silvia has no doubts: “team.” “As soon as a request comes in, I coordinate with Administration, IT, Communication, and Logistics. We all work together to reach the final goal—just like a real team.”
