Bologna (Italy), 23 February 2026 – Macron, a leading sportswear brand and global specialist in teamwear, closed 2025 with a new record turnover of €244.4 million, up 9.3% compared to €223.6 million in 2024.
This result consolidates a growth trajectory spanning more than twenty years, during which Macron has consistently improved its performance (2023: €196.6 million; 2022: €169.9 million), with revenues increasing exponentially from €10 million in 2004.
EBITDA margin stood at approximately 21%, reflecting the strength of an integrated, scalable and capital-efficient operating model capable of generating operating leverage through geographic expansion and customer base growth.
Macron’s growth is driven by a distinctive business model focused on teamwear, characterized by structurally recurring demand and strong revenue visibility, supported by long-term partnerships with clubs and sports communities across the entire sports pyramid.
Within this strategy, high-profile technical sponsorships and the Macron O.N.E. collection — a synthesis of innovation, technical excellence and premium design — represent key brand-accelerators, strengthening international positioning and aspirational appeal.
The brand’s growing global visibility translates into a multiplier effect on the commercial performance of its monobrand retail network, with more than 190 Macron Sports Hubs active in over 30 countries. These hubs represent the cornerstone of the company’s go-to-market model and a genuine structural competitive advantage.
The United Kingdom, Italy and Spain remain the top three markets by total sales, while Macron’s international footprint continues to strengthen further, with more than 80% of revenues generated outside Italy.
Performance in the United States was particularly significant, where the first full year of operations of the Connecticut Distribution Center generated over €12 million in turnover, marking strong growth compared to 2024.
Growth is accompanied by a targeted investment plan at the Macron Campus in Valsamoggia, Bologna, Italy. In 2026, expansion works launched in 2025 will be completed, for a total investment of approximately €15 million, bringing the headquarters’ total surface area to 115,000 sqm. The project includes the full operational launch of the Macron Distribution Center 2 (DC2) and the inauguration of new facilities, including the Macron Dome, a sports complex featuring a 600-square-meter gym, a padel arena and a 3×3 basketball court. This strategic infrastructure is designed to support future growth, enhance operational efficiency and strengthen corporate culture.
“The turnover record achieved in 2025 further confirms the quality of the daily work carried out by a team with strong ambitions,” said Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “Growth is part of our DNA — it is embedded in our name. The name Macron derives from the Greek prefix ‘makro’, meaning ‘great’: this is the origin of our mission, to build a great Italian sports company. 2025 represents an important milestone within a broader journey. We are already focused on 2026, with the objective of further strengthening our global positioning by investing in brand, innovation and quality. We aim to grow selectively and sustainably, creating long-term value and reinforcing a corporate culture grounded in discipline, accountability and strategic vision.”
