Macron will be a partner in the 2025 edition of the DEMO Festival, the most important event in the world dedicated to motion design, which on 30 January will involve more than 15 cities around the world for 24 hours dedicated to graphic and artistic animation: a unique encounter between design and sport that celebrates art as a universal language and its ability to influence every aspect of contemporary culture.
Macron has always seen design not only as an aesthetic element but as a true art form capable of telling a story. At the heart of Macron’s philosophy is the concept of “Designed in Bologna”, which translates into the creation of garments that combine aesthetics, functionality and innovation. Each product designed in the Macron Campus bears the unmistakable imprint of the brand: a style that combines advanced technologies, cutting-edge materials and the taste for elegance typical of Made in Italy.
The partnership with DEMO Festival underlines how the worlds of design and sport are increasingly linked, influencing each other and generating new forms of cultural expression. Sport and design share the ability to inspire, excite and push the boundaries of innovation.
Scheduled for 30 January, DEMO Festival will take place in exceptional locations around the world. As part of this event, cities around the world will be involved, which, for the 24-hour duration of the festival, will provide public LED panels to display motion design works. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Tilburg, Eindhoven and Utrecht in the Netherlands, as well as Antwerp, Brussels, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cardiff, Leeds, Madrid, Barcelona, Los Angeles and Vancouver will turn into open-air galleries for a day. On display will be more than 560 works by 370 of the best motion designers around, divided into 9 different themes. Now in its third edition after those of 2019 and 2022, DEMO Festival is, therefore, a true ‘unified screen’ celebration of this innovative and ever-moving art form.
Curated by Studio Dumbar/DEPT®, an internationally renowned Dutch agency with a decade-long history in branding and visual design, DEMO Festival provides a unique platform to explore the power of motion design.
“For Macron, being partner of DEMO Festival 2025 is an opportunity to explore new ways of communicating and celebrating design as a universal form of expression,” says Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron. “This partnership is a further step towards our vision of combining aesthetics, functionality and innovation, not only in sport but in every aspect of everyday life.”
