For Filippo Bonomi, Macron is synonymous with movement, dialogue, and transformation. After earning a degree in Sports Science and a master’s in Sport Management, he joined the company and today works as a Macron Sports Hub Network Specialist, a key figure in the opening and support of the brand’s monobrand stores.

“When I was offered the opportunity to join Macron, I didn’t hesitate. It was the right place for someone like me, looking for a dynamic environment connected to the world of sport.”

A role in constant evolution

Dynamic is also the best word to describe his role, which is always evolving. He oversees new store openings, evaluates projects presented by country managers, manages the early phases of retail design, and ensures that stores comply with brand standards.

“We work to make sure each store is sustainable and aligned with economic performance expectations. But our task goes beyond numbers: we support people in their professional journey.”

The strength of human connection

Although much of his work involves analysis and procedures, Filippo keeps people at the center.

“It’s not just about managing numbers, but about concretely supporting stores and the people who work there every day. That’s our mission.”

Sharing knowledge and tools with those on the front line, creating connections, offering solutions: that is what makes the job meaningful.

“Direct contact with store teams is the most rewarding part. Seeing that what we do truly improves their daily work is the greatest satisfaction.”

Training and transformation

In 2025, his role expanded with new challenges, including training on the new SAP management system.

“Our role adapts to the company, moving with it. We’re versatile, ready to reshape ourselves depending on the directions Macron decides to take.”

Experiences that leave a mark

Among the most memorable moments of his career at the company, Filippo enthusiastically recalls the Macron Sports Hub Meeting, a biennial event that brings together all monobrand stores.

“I took part in the Bologna edition in 2023 and helped organize the one in Valencia in 2025. It’s an all-encompassing experience that demands great readiness but rewards you with the chance to meet clients up close and share ideas.”

Sharing to grow

In his journey, sharing plays a key role. Periodic meetings are organized with managers across the retail network, held monthly or quarterly depending on the market, and designed to address the specific needs of stores in each area.

“It’s a precious moment. An opportunity to take stock, learn from others, and find new solutions together. Not every company does this, and that’s what makes Macron different.”

A fertile environment

Today, Filippo looks ahead: he wants to spend more time in the field, visiting stores, listening, and learning.

“For me, Macron is fertile ground. Many people here have contributed to building something great, and having the chance to learn from them is essential for improving and growing professionally.”
