Bien qu\u2019il ait principalement \u00e9volu\u00e9 dans les championnats anglais, ses nombreux triomphes en Coupe du Pays de Galles \u2013 23, un record \u2013 lui ont permis d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la Coupe des Coupes et de se forger une r\u00e9putation de \u201c giant cup-killers \u201d. Actuellement, le club occupe la t\u00eate de la National League et s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 disputer la finale du FA Trophy, le 22 mai. Apr\u00e8s son r\u00e9cent rachat par les stars hollywoodiennes Rob McElhenney et Ryan Reynolds, l\u2019objectif est de revenir en EFL et de faire briller l\u2019\u00e9toile de Wrexham sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale. <\/p>\n<p><b>D\u00c9VELOPPER LES TALENTS \u2018 EN INTERNE \u2019 <\/b><\/p>\n<p>Le Wrexham peut se pr\u00e9valoir d\u2019une longue tradition dans la formation de talents issus de son propre centre de formation. L\u2019objectif n\u2019est pas seulement de faire \u00e9merger de jeunes joueurs prometteurs, mais aussi de leur offrir un parcours de progression et des opportunit\u00e9s au sein du club, des \u00e9quipes de jeunes jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9quipe premi\u00e8re. Cette saison pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment, six joueurs du centre de formation du Wrexham AFC ont sign\u00e9 un contrat professionnel avec le club et six joueuses de l'\u00e9quipe f\u00e9minine U19 du Wrexham AFC ont fait leurs d\u00e9buts en \u00e9quipe premi\u00e8re. Gareth Owen, entra\u00eeneur de l\u2019\u00e9quipe f\u00e9minine et, avant cela, ancien talent embl\u00e9matique issu du centre de formation, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 : \u2018 C\u2019est sans doute la chose la plus gratifiante qui soit de voir les moins de 19 ans franchir le pas vers le football \u2019 senior \u201c. Ce parcours est accessible \u00e0 tous ceux qui souhaitent progresser. \u2018 Ces parcours et cette conception du football permettent au club de se sentir encore plus proche de la communaut\u00e9 qui l\u2019a toujours soutenu, comme en 2011, lorsque les supporters se sont mobilis\u00e9s pour r\u00e9colter plus de 100 000 livres sterling en une journ\u00e9e afin d\u2019\u00e9viter le d\u00e9clin financier et de sauver l\u2019avenir du club. <\/p>\n<p><b>TRADITIONS ET L\u00c9GENDES DU CLUB<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Le Racecourse Ground, le plus ancien stade de football international encore en service, a accueilli de nombreux matchs historiques et a vu grandir bon nombre des l\u00e9gendes de Wrexham. Parmi eux, le meilleur buteur de tous les temps du club, Tommy Bamford, auteur de 175 buts en championnat en 204 matchs, ainsi que le joueur-entra\u00eeneur Arfon Griffiths, qui totalise 591 apparitions pour le club et a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 une promotion en Division Two en tant qu\u2019entra\u00eeneur en 1978, p\u00e9riode faste pour Wrexham. Ces personnalit\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement influentes et continuent d\u2019inspirer les nouvelles g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de joueurs de Wrexham.
