The Italian company, a world-leading brand in the rugby sector, and DRV have announced the <strong>renewal of the partnership<\/strong> that began in 2018. This collaboration includes the supply of technical material to the <strong>Rugby Deutschland<\/strong> men\u2019s and women\u2019s major national teams and to all formations up to the Under 16s.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Founded on 4 November 1900 in Kassel, DRV is one of the oldest rugby federations in the world and the oldest in Europe after the four <em>Home Unions<\/em> of the British Isles. It was precisely in 1900 that a German national team took part in the Paris Olympics, when rugby was an Olympic sport, and won the silver medal. Currently, the men\u2019s national team is ranked 36th in the World Ranking, while the women\u2019s selection occupies 21st place.  <\/p>\n\n<p>\u2018<em>We are happy to continue this partnership with DRV, which represents a dynamic and fast-growing rugby movement<\/em>\u2019, said <strong>Gianluca Pavanello<\/strong>, CEO of Macron. \u2018<em>This is a relationship that goes back a long way, and that has been consolidated over the years, during which we have provided staff and athletes with increasingly high-performance technical garments with designs and graphics that fully express the identity and sense of belonging to the colours and symbols of the German national teams.<\/em>\u2019 <\/p>\n\n<p>\u2018<em>On behalf of Rugby Deutschland, I can say that we are delighted to be working with such a strong partner as Macron for another four years and to be able to continue to advance German rugby together,<\/em>\u2019 said <strong>Florian Hartmann<\/strong>, Board Member for Structure and Development in Rugby Deutschland. <em>\u2018Not only will all our national teams, from the top men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s teams to the national youth teams and our referees, benefit from this.
