Having joined Macron almost two years ago, Edoardo Collina, Head of Social & Content Media, stands out for a path developed within a partner club. This background has allowed him to get to know the brand from a different perspective before experiencing it from the inside. His story begins in a specific place: the Campus.

A Campus that changes perspective

“I always say that an international dimension is breathed here.”

After gaining professional experience in various Italian cities and in Bologna itself, Edoardo has no doubts: the Macron headquarters is a facility that goes beyond the standard. Having attended other sports venues, he describes the Campus as “cutting-edge”, especially in terms of facilities and space organization.

Having moved directly into the new facility, he was able to immediately experience an environment designed to evolve, not only as the company's headquarters but also as a place increasingly oriented towards sports and sharing.

For him, a lifelong sportsman, this aspect takes on even greater value:

“Having the opportunity to practice sports even in the place where you work is not taken for granted.”

To this is added an extremely efficient operational organization: tools, support and resources are made available immediately.

“You arrive and you can start working right away. You don’t have to worry about anything. It’s a huge plus.”

From operational to strategic: a leap in responsibility

Macron’s entry coincided with a real professional upgrade.

For the first time, Edoardo found himself managing a larger team. A significant change that transformed his role from predominantly operational to highly strategic.

“I already managed a resource, but with a more structured team I had the opportunity to test myself as a manager. My work has changed a lot: today I think more about vision, direction, and the growth of people.”

Managing a team also means learning to trust, share, and build success together.

“It’s a big responsibility, even emotional. You have to learn to manage dynamics, to value people and to build a real team spirit.”

Organization and creativity: a winning balance

In his highly creative approach, Edoardo emphasizes how the corporate organization is a key element.

The solid and well-defined structure allows us to focus on ideas, campaigns, and content creation without having to waste energy managing operational complexities.

“It’s a very organized environment, and that, for those who work in creativity, is essential. It allows you to free up mental space to think big.”

A high-intensity gym

“Macron’s situation requires energy and determination: the pace is high and to grow you need to take risks. But it is precisely this intensity that represents one of the greatest strengths. Working in such a challenging environment becomes a real professional training ground.”.
