{"id":25001,"date":"2026-08-31T15:09:57","date_gmt":"2026-08-31T15:09:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/about.macron.com\/?p=25001"},"modified":"2026-08-31T15:09:57","modified_gmt":"2026-08-31T15:09:57","slug":"espana-lacrosse-macron-new-technical-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/about.macron.com\/en\/news\/sponsorships\/espana-lacrosse-macron-new-technical-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Macron and Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse: a new technical partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/about.macron.com\/en\/macron-world\/\">Macron<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse<\/strong> have announced a new long-term technical partnership that will see the Italian sportswear brand become the official Technical Partner of Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A long-term partnership that will support Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse across its national-team and wider sporting programmes, including the Senior National Teams, Sub20 programmes and Club Teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration brings together Macron\u2019s expertise in technical sportswear, product development and custom teamwear with the ambition of Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse to continue developing the sport and establish a stronger, more recognisable identity for Spanish lacrosse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the partnership, Macron will work alongside Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse on the development of competition and performance apparel, combining technical performance with a distinctive visual identity designed specifically for the Spanish lacrosse community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration will extend across online retail, merchandising and future collections, creating opportunities to connect the national teams, clubs, athletes, supporters and wider lacrosse community through a shared identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A key part of the partnership will be the development of a distinctive visual language for Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse. Rather than simply applying Spanish colours or national symbols to standard teamwear, Macron and Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse will explore how Spanish culture, architecture, materials, craftsmanship, landscape and contemporary design can influence the collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ambition is to create something modern, powerful and unmistakably Spanish, while remaining authentic to lacrosse. The identity will have the flexibility to evolve across competition apparel, training and performance wear, equipment and future national-team programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lyndsey Mu\u00f1oz, VP, National Teams Director &amp; National Team Player<\/strong>, said: \u201cSomething my teammates and I often discuss is the pride and honor you feel when you put on an Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse jersey. No matter how many times you have the opportunity to do it, that moment means something. You know what the jersey represents. It\u2019s the country and people you\u2019re representing and hold the responsibility that comes with wearing it. That\u2019s what makes this partnership so meaningful. It will help create those moments for our National Team athletes, but its impact goes well beyond our National Teams. How we represent ourselves matters at every level of Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse. This partnership gives us an opportunity to build a stronger, more connected identity across our National Team programs, Club Teams, and wider lacrosse community, while making the experience of representing Espa\u00f1a even more special for the individuals who earn that opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron<\/strong>, said: \u201cLacrosse is a sport with strong potential, and Spain is an exciting market in which to support its growth. With Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse, we have the opportunity to combine our experience in teamwear with a clear focus on identity, creating products that represent Spanish lacrosse both on and off the field.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partnership comes at an important moment for Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse, with the national programme preparing for major international competitions and continuing its long-term development along the Olympic pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration will be particularly visible at the 2026 European Sixes Championships in Salou, where Spain will compete on home soil in one of the key international events on the road to LA 2028.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the partnership, Macron and Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse will continue to develop products that combine technical performance, contemporary design and national identity, supporting athletes and teams both on and off the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for Espa\u00f1a Lacrosse as the sport continues to grow in Spain, with Macron supporting the
