“Working at Macron is both stimulating and challenging. Stimulating because it’s a race uphill: we’re a sports company, we like to run. Challenging because here you have to work hard, and everyone has to give their best to achieve the goals. Vanessa, Associate Infrastructure Specialist, is responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure globally. A crucial role that involves high responsibilities and requires responsiveness, precision, and vision. Yet, what most strikes me in her story is not the technical component, but the enthusiasm with which she talks about the team: ”In 18 years of career, this is one of the best teams I’ve worked with. Human quality really makes the difference.“

A growth that is felt on the skin

Vanessa worked in large, structured companies, was a consultant, and saw many different environments. But Macron conveyed something unique to her: “Macron’s growth is tangible; you can feel it. I’ve never seen it so tangible anywhere else.” In just a few years, the company underwent an intense transformation: technological, organizational, and cultural. And those who are part of this growth do not just accept it; they build it day by day.

Valuing ideas, giving space to people

One of the aspects that Vanessa most appreciates is the opportunity to really contribute. “From the very beginning, they encouraged me to speak up. Even when I first arrived, I had space to propose alternative solutions and visions. It’s not taken for granted.” This openness to discussion is one of the pillars of an environment that encourages widespread ownership, where every voice can make a difference.

The strength of the team: “Alone you go nowhere”

In the IT world, individual expertise is fundamental. But that’s not enough. “Alone you go nowhere. You can’t know everything. Only by sharing knowledge and supporting each other can great results be achieved.” What emerges is a corporate culture that rewards collective thinking, individual responsibility, and collaboration. An environment where collaboration is a practical, not just theoretical, value.

Technique and humanity: a possible balance

Technology requires precision, but working with people requires sensitivity. And for Vanessa, the real work often begins when a colleague panics over a problem they cannot solve. “It takes psychology. You have to reassure, accompany, and understand. It’s not just a technical issue.” In this regard, Macron also demonstrates a company that is attentive to the human factor. You grow as professionals, but also as people.

Beyond the role: space for individual growth

Vanessa came in as a technician; today she also has management responsibilities. She learned on the job, driven by the company’s trust. Meanwhile, she studies computer engineering at university, with a full-time job. “It’s not easy, but the desire to grow is stronger. I know I can put what I learn to the service of the company. And that motivates me even more.”

A challenge worth the satisfaction

One of the most complex experiences she remembers is the renewal of the entire data center in Milan. “It was a very delicate operation. We had to avoid any disruption. We succeeded. And we received the CEO’s compliments. It’s a huge satisfaction.” And that’s exactly the deeper meaning of her story: every challenge is also an opportunity for pride.

Macron is… a peak reached together

“It’s like when you go hiking with a 25% incline. It’s tiring, sweaty… but then you reach the top and you enjoy the view. And you say: it was worth it. Macron works hard, but together. You grow, you change, you build something. And you discover that work can also be a space for personal fulfillment.

Vanessa Daluiso recounts her experience at Macron, with its IT challenges, growth and team spirit.

[27,1288

post-12524","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-corporate","category-macron-people
